Coronavirus Guidelines to Follow at the Hairdressers

Charlie Milz Hair & Beauty is committed to providing a safe environment for all our staff and clients during the coronavirus pandemic. 

Covid-19 Safety Guidelines for Your Salon Appointment

• When visiting the salon, you may notice some changes to the layout and to how your appointment runs.

• The layout of the salon has been set up to follow strict social distancing guidelines. We ask that every client respects these guidelines for everyone’s safety.

• If you start to develop symptoms or have been in direct contact with a confirmed positive case, please do not attend your appointment. Please call to let us know as soon as possible and we will happily rearrange for after your isolation and when you’re feeling better.

• If you arrive early to your appointment, you may be asked to wait outside. We have a limited waiting area that has been reduced to two chairs for essential use only.

• Please also come to your appointment alone unless a parent of carer is required. 

• Upon entering our hair and beauty salon, we will check your temperature. Please also use the hand sanitiser on entry.

• A mask must always be worn in the salon (unless you are exempt under medical grounds). We can provide a mask, if required.

• You will see our staff wearing PPE and this is changed daily as well as all equipment washed and sanitised between every client; high-contact areas are also frequently cleaned throughout the day

• Towels and gowns are not shared and are washed after every use.

• Screens are provided between wash stations.

• Unfortunately, no refill-refreshments will be served in the salon at this time, but bottled water is available upon request.

• Track and trace will be done using your client record card – if your information has changed, please let a member of the team know before you leave the salon.

• We will also provide a QR code which can be scanned using the NHS COVID-19 track and trace app.

• A bathroom is available if necessary and is cleaned frequently.

• Card and contactless payments are preferred.
